17 Jun 2009 - TRIP TO THE ICINI VILLAGE..LUNCH AT THE TWENTYCHURCHWARDENS AND GOODERSTONE WATER GARDENS
After coffee at the Twenty Churchwardens Pub..we made our way over to The Icini Village...A load of old relics..looking at a load of old relics ha ha...we had a good laugh..I went up into the lookout tower to see if I could see Rini and Marie..but they were nowhere to be seen.. we had a slight mishap after the photocall in the chariot.....the combined weight of the ladies who lunch ..was too much for the little chariot... see the pics..never mind ay...Then it was on to the Pub for lunch..the food was really good and we had a really nice time chatting and laughing..We then made our way to Gooderstone Water gardens.. a very pretty place.. and we found that just wandering around was very relaxing.. The little painting of the red hat lady is on the wall of the coffee shop in the Water Gardens..it was not for sale.but we liked seeing her running her stick along the railings..as depicted in the famous poem....
Once again..a lovely day spent together...thanks Anita for organising it......it was really great
