WEEKEND IN BLACKPOOL AND FUNNY-GIRLS
.
Our trip to Blackpool was a resounding success...The staff at the hotel congratulated us and thanked us for bringing so much fun to the weekend..even the coach driver said that he had never had such a successful Blackpool trip with so much life on board..We started the weekend in Marys Suite..celebrating the safe arrival of her new Granddaughter..wetting the baby's head is a good tradition and thank you Mary for that..we stayed in the Hotel on the Friday night where we shared the music with the rest of the residents..Gadabouts..true to form..made everyone feel happy with their dancing and fun loving spirit. Take a look at Patty's amazing tattoo..a true Red Hat Lady. On Saturday we had intended to have tea in the Tower Ballroom..but were disappointed to find out that it was closed due to a private charity function taking place that evening..so all we manged to do was get a few pictures..but it meant more time to shop so that was OK..We had a wonderful night at Funny-girls..is was Halloween and many of the young people were in costume..but watch this space ladies its our turn on Wednesday...On the way home we visited the National Memorial Arboretum..a wonderful place dedicated to our War Heroes...We have allocated a separate page for those pictures as Remembrance Day is soon we thought that it would be fitting.. if you click on the link at the bottom of the page it will take you to the Arboretum website where you will find more information. All together a great weekend was had by all and we look forward to our next trip.
